AESA Esports Tour 2024
Looking to learn more about esports? Scholarships for students, career opportunities, and more, will all be explored with the AESA Esports Tour. Hosted by the Alberta Esports Association and partnered with NorQuest College and the Edmonton Federation of Community Leagues, this program will be an educational session on this exciting new industry, discussing health, wellness, digital citizenship, and followed by a Super Smash Brothers and Mario Kart tournament.

Mark your calendars for this exciting in-person championship tournament this May. This inaugural tournament will be held at the Lethbridge & District Exhibition Trade Center on May 3 and 4, 2024
This years competition includes Rocket League, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Valorant, and League of Legends!

The Spring Warm Up Tournament series features a number of ONLINE, FREE-TO-ENTER esports tournaments to prepare players for the Alberta Esports Championship. Student teams can register for the events using the appropriate links

The City of Edmonton is working to bring more esports events to the region but local gamers say they haven’t been consulted. In 2023, the city worked with Explore Edmonton, Edmonton Global and the Edmonton Screen Industries Office to develop an Esports strategy. Read more here.
