We Run on Volunteers

The Alberta Esports Association (AESA) is dedicated to fostering the growth and development of esports within Alberta and facilitating the best events, the best communities, and the best players. In our pursuit of these goals, we rely on the skills and time of volunteers from our community to help run events and support the backend to give esports its characteristic presence. This includes individuals in the following roles:

- Volunteer Tournament Organizers
- Production (Media) Volunteer
- Business-specific task committee roles (marketing, accounting,  etc.)

Our HR team sorts, selects, and interviews candidates on a per-event or per-task basis. We retain all applications for a period of 12-months in case a vacancy or a need for a position arises. As a non-profit organization and as these are volunteer specific roles, hours are not guaranteed and there is no monetary payment. Thank you in advance for wanting to support and grow with AESA!

We Contract for Events

Based on funding and sponsorships, we will be looking for individuals to help us make AESA-affiliated and AESA-sponsored events a memorable experience. The below postings are paid opportunities for qualified individuals to help AESA put on specific events. These are separate from the ongoing volunteer opportunities mentioned above.
