Expanding into Collegiate Esports with ACAC

Collegiate esports is quickly becoming an important aspect of the community. To continue such growth, AESA is pleased to partner with the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference to organise events for Albertan colleges and universities across the province.

The ACAC is one of the premier athletic conferences in Canada, unifying collegiate sports over seventeen post secondary institutions in and surrounding Alberta. With national recognition in badminton, basketball, soccer, volleyball, golf, curling and cross country running, we’re honored to have ACAC’s expertise as we expand into collegiate esports together.

On this momentous partnership, co-founder Victor Ly said the following:

“Our team is so excited to take the first preliminary steps in incorporating esports into traditional collegiate sports with the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference and to create a supportive and sustainable landscape for college esports athletes to compete and flourish.

The ACAC shares our goal in fostering and supporting the esports community and facilitating new opportunities for players to celebrate competition and esports at the provincial level and beyond, and we aim to be there every step of the way.”

AESA and ACAC will be hosting events in the near future - be sure to stay updated on our plans with ACAC by following us on social media.
