Announcement: AESA New Scholastic & Collegiate Esports Lead

The Alberta Esports Association (AESA) is thrilled to announce that Shadi Hanna has joined our team as the Scholastic & Collegiate Esports Lead! Shadi brings a wealth of experience and passion for esports, education, and advocacy, making him an invaluable asset to AESA as we continue to support the growth and development of academic esports in Alberta and beyond.

Shadi Hanna's extensive background as a lifelong esports enthusiast, competitor, and educator, has uniquely prepared him for his role. With over four years of collegiate esports coaching experience and more than a decade as a mentor and tutor, Shadi specializes in talent development for aspiring esports professionals.

One of Shadi's key achievements is his remarkable work in shaping local and provincial esports events all across Canada, including the highly acclaimed Battle of Alberta and the Keyano Huskies Esports program. His passion for esports and dedication to fostering its growth have made him a sought-after guest speaker, supporting scholastic and collegiate leaders throughout the country.
